Jobtailor is seeking a skilled financial accountant to manage monthly closings, cost reporting, and inventory accounting across plant locations. The role emphasizes accuracy, data-driven decisions, and collaboration with the US Operations Finance team.

You will prepare production cost analyses, support budgeting, and contribute to SOX compliance and internal/external audits, while upholding company policies and ethical standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting.
• English fluency, upper-intermediate or above.
• Experience with costing and accounting preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• ERP experience with Oracle or SAP.
• Familiarity with IT systems such as Trintech, ePro, Audit Board, ServiceNow.
• Strong data analysis and data-driven decision making.
• Commitment to ethical behavior and policy compliance.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform monthly closing procedures and maintain accurate accounting records for the plant, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Prepare detailed reports on production and operating costs for managerial decision making.
• Analyze variances between estimated and actual production costs and collaborate to improve efficiency.
• Complete and evaluate account reconciliations to identify trends and ensure accuracy of balances.
• Support re-costing and analyze results to understand real-time cost changes.
• Assist with annual manufacturing budgeting by category and cost center.
• Participate in meetings with plant manager and leadership on results, cost actions, and ad-hoc tasks.
• Oversee inventory accounting and physical inventory reconciliations for plant locations.
• Assist with SOX audit compliance and other audit issues.
• Collaborate with Operations Finance Supervisor in the US.
