Collins Aerospace is seeking a Specialist within the Global Supplier Development organization. The role focuses on driving supplier recovery, capability improvement, and sustainable performance across global commodities.

It is hands-on, cross-functional and supports containment, supplier assessments, and structured improvement plans. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and strategic, capable of managing crises and long-term development actions aligned with business goals and enterprise

Responsabilidades

• Lead internal and supplier containment actions in collaboration with Operations and Quality, coordinating improvement plans and ensuring clear communication through plan review checkpoints.
• Conduct RRCA investigations to resolve critical quality or delivery issues, escalating persistent issues to crisis mode or tiger teams when necessary.
• Monitor leading and lagging KPIs to assess progress and determine exit criteria for containment efforts.
• Lead supplier site identification and prioritize development efforts aligned with risk, impact, and strategic commodity needs.
• Engage suppliers with development roadmaps, training, and targeted actions tied to maturity models, and facilitate KPI tracking and gate reviews.
• Align with Commodity Managers and Engineering on supplier readiness for new programs or volume ramp-ups, monitoring progress toward target maturity levels and sustainment planning.
• Provide leadership and support for supplier transitions, ensuring smooth handover of work scope and ongoing maturity monitoring.
• Execute APQP for new product launch and work transition projects in alignment with internal business units.
