Mexicali RTX Corporation is seeking a Specialist to drive supplier recovery, capability development, and sustainable performance across global commodities. The role combines hands-on containment with strategic supplier development, quality improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will lead containment actions, investigate root causes, monitor KPIs, and coordinate supplier readiness for new programs.

Formación

• Experience in supplier development and quality improvement processes.
• Familiarity with APQP and new product launch activities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead internal and supplier containment actions in collaboration with Operations and Quality, coordinating improvement plans and ensuring clear communication through plan review checkpoints.
• Conduct Root Cause and Corrective Action (RRCA) investigations to resolve critical quality or delivery issues, escalating persistent issues to crisis mode or tiger teams when necessary.
• Monitor leading and lagging KPIs to assess progress and evaluate exit criteria for containment efforts.
• Lead supplier site identification and prioritize development efforts aligned with risk, impact and strategic commodity needs, while conducting supplier assessments using the OCRA tool.
• Engage suppliers with development roadmaps, training, and targeted actions tied to maturity models, and facilitate structured improvement plan development, KPI tracking, and gate reviews.
• Align with Commodity Managers and Engineering teams on supplier readiness for new programs or volume ramp-ups, while monitoring progress toward target maturity levels and initiating sustainment planning.
• Provide leadership and support for supplier transitions, ensuring a smooth handover of work scope with minimal disruption and monitoring supplier maturity post-transition to ensure long-term capability.
• Execute APQP for new product launch and work transition projects while aligning with internal business units
