Job summary

Caterpillar is seeking a Demand & Orders Analyst in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas to support order lead time and configuration changes. The role monitors production plans to ensure availability and collaborates with sales, production, and logistics to prioritize orders.

Responsibilities include auditing order changes, aligning orders with the production plan, and generating basic demand management reports for senior staff. A BS in a relevant field and strong English skills are required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or Business Management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, organization and communication skills.
• 70% English level, written and oral communication.
• 3 years of experience in Demand Planning.
• ERP systems experience (QAD, SAP, etc).
• MS Excel and MS Outlook proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supports customer inquiries for order lead time and configuration changes.
• Monitors the production plan and adjusts to maintain product availability.
• Audits order change requests from customers and evaluates feasibility.
• Aligns customer orders with Sales production plan to meet monthly goals.
• Acts as primary liaison with other departments to manage priorities.
