Job summary

Rockwell Automation in Monterrey, Mexico, seeks an experienced Commodity Manager to define end-to-end strategies for direct materials within the ISC. This role reports to the Strategic Sourcing Manager and operates with high autonomy in a hybrid schedule.

You will lead sourcing events, negotiate with suppliers, manage performance, and collaborate with PLM, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to support NPI and lifecycle management, ensuring compliance and measurable cost improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience
• Ability to travel 25% of the time

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end commodity strategies for direct materials
• Lead sourcing events, supplier negotiations, and contracting decisions
• Manage supplier performance and continuous improvement plans
• Partner with PLM, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to support NPI and lifecycle management
• Ensure compliance and adoption of sourcing strategies across the team
• Monitor market conditions, cost drivers, and supply risks
• Lead complex, multi-region sourcing strategies with enterprise impact
