PHINIA is seeking an experienced procurement professional to strategically manage sourcing, negotiation, and procurement of production materials for cost-effective, high-quality, on-time supply supporting manufacturing operations and new product launches.

You will align suppliers, lead cost-reduction projects, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to secure capacity and mitigate supply risks. Fluency in English is required and SAP/Microsoft Office are used daily.

Formación

• Education: Electrical Engineer, Electronic Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Administration or related degree.
• Time of experience in similar position: 4 years or more in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles
• Technical knowledge required: Quality Systems, Supplier Development, Project Management, Costs, Negotiation, Manufacturing Processes
• Other requirements: Microsoft Office, SAP. ERP
• English Required: Proficient

Responsabilidades

• Strategically align strategic suppliers to create value through price competitiveness and long-term cost reduction.
• Negotiate with suppliers in line with Plant savings target.
• Create, execute and monitor cost reduction projects per annual budget.
• Perform comparative cost analysis of supplier quotations and investment projects.
• Develop strategy for raw material price reduction, negotiation, new/dual sourcing, volume increases, VA/VE, process improvements.
• Maintain up-to-date pricing in ERP system.
• Control raw material pricing and exchange rate fluctuations.
• Generate contracts with supply base (NDA/Framework/AL/T&C/Consignment).
• Present and obtain Sourcing Board approvals for savings projects or new programmes.
• Source suppliers in strategic regions and work with cross-functional teams on component/process development.
• Ensure supplier production capacity and manage supply risks.
• Participate in Annual Inventory.
