Thermo Fisher Scientific is establishing a new manufacturing site in Monterrey, Mexico. The Senior Site Manager will lead start-up and transition to long-term operations, building the leadership team and ensuring readiness, regulatory compliance, and safe, compliant production.

The role requires startup leadership, strong cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to scale to ~120 employees while maintaining a culture of safety, quality, and continual improvement.

Formación

• Advanced degree or Bachelor’s with relevant experience in manufacturing/operations.
• Significant operations leadership experience in sophisticated manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading site startups, expansions, or major transfers.
• Proven ability to recruit and develop high-performing leadership teams.
• Strong track record implementing Lean and continuous improvement.
• Experience with FDA/cGMP/ISO quality systems and financial acumen.

Responsabilidades

• Provide overall site leadership through start-up, readiness, launch, and ramp-up.
• Lead the transfer and ramp-up of manufacturing operations to Monterrey site.
• Recruit and develop the plant leadership team and establish a high-performing organization.
• Manage growth from zero to ~120 employees and define culture and leadership practices.
• Oversee equipment transfers, process transfers, and manufacturing ramp-up.
• Ensure safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity KPIs are met.
• Establish governance with global teams and external stakeholders.
• Drive site strategic plans, budgets, capacity, and productivity objectives.
