GE Aerospace is seeking a Staff Engineer for CF34 Mechanical Systems to lead MSE hardware development and cross-functional collaboration in Turbomachinery. The role emphasizes mentoring, technical execution, and strategic input to design boards and programs.

You will mentor teams, review engineering concepts, and drive projects across functions to ensure robust technical solutions and program performance.

Qualificações

• MRB MSE Parts Mentor.
• MRB MSE Parts Approver.
• Recognized experience working with MSE (Design Board 12).
• Technical Contributions to the Design Board 12.
• Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Demonstrated ability in managing projects across functions.
• Capable of coaching others to accomplish assignments.

Responsabilidades

• Execute technical projects/programs requiring significant MSE hardware design domain expertise.
• Review and approve proposals and concepts for technical depth and accuracy.
• Establish development test and certification/qualification plans and obtain agency approvals.
• Lead cross functional teams to resolve design field issues (e.g., FPRG or FMD).
• Support ID&B Turbomachinery strategy and Design Board inputs.
• Communicate project status and recommendations to GE customers.

BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering / Aeronautical Engineering
