Bain & Company in Mexico City seeks a Staff Engineer to design and lead cloud infrastructure across Coro's DevOps and Assurance team. You will own Terraform architecture, Azure networking, and platform reliability, partnering with global cloud teams to raise standards and scale delivery.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering and technical leadership: build IaC, CI/CD with GitHub Actions, secure architectures, incident response, and mentoring engineers to improve automation and developer

Formación

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
7–9 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or cloud platform engineering, at senior or staff level.
Proven track record architecting and operating cloud infrastructure in production at scale.
Experience leading and mentoring DevOps or platform engineers in fast-paced product organizations.

Responsabilidades

Own the design and evolution of cloud infrastructure built on Terraform and Terraform Cloud; define module structure and backends.
Architect Azure networking end-to-end (VNet topology, private endpoints, DNS, NSG, Front Door).
Set standards for provisioning Azure platform services (App Services, Azure SQL, OpenAI, Container Registry, Key Vault, Entra ID, Storage/ADLS).
Own automation roadmap; move toward self-service and infrastructure-as-code; reduce operational load.
Partner with Bain’s central cloud/infrastructure teams to align processes, tooling, and standards.
Own AKS architecture including node pools, scaling, spot instances, and service connectivity.
Define identity/access architecture (Entra ID, Okta, RBAC).
Set standards for databases (Azure SQL Serverless, PostgreSQL Flexible, Cosmos DB).
Ensure platform reliability and act as senior escalation point for platform issues.
Define and own CI/CD strategy using GitHub Actions; manage container image lifecycle and deployments.
Architect and operate GitHub-hosted private runners with Azure networking integration.
Monitor observability stack (Datadog, Azure Application Insights); guide security findings and incident response.
Lead DevOps engineers; mentor team; shape platform roadmaps across NGSS.
