Spin Careers is seeking a Staff AI Engineer to join the AI Products Chapter and lead the engineering of agentic systems at scale. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists, and squads to define and operate AI agents and copilots in production with real users and traffic.

You will mentor engineers, drive architectural standards, and own deployment, observability, and cost controls while shaping the future of AI-driven experiences across Spin's ecosystem.

Formación

• Extensive software engineering experience with a track record of leading complex initiatives.
• Production experience shipping AI agents, copilots, or agentic systems to production.
• Strong software engineering foundation with ability to write and own production code.
• Ability to reason about agents as distributed systems with failure modes.
• Judgment on latency, autonomy, cost, and accuracy trade-offs.
• Experience driving cross-functional initiatives without a dedicated PM.
• Experience working in agile, collaborative environments.
• Unlimited curiosity about new AI tools and architectures.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build the engineering architecture for AI agents and copilots, including tool use and memory.
• Take agentic systems from prototype to production with deployment, observability, latency, and cost management.
• Develop eval pipelines, guardrails, and monitoring to detect regressions.
• Ensure on-call readiness, incident response, and root-cause fixes for agentic systems.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists, and business teams through discovery to launch.
• Define engineering standards and best practices for agentic and GenAI-based systems.
• Lead end-to-end engineering initiatives with autonomy, from scoping to production.
• Make build-vs-buy and architecture trade-off decisions based on problems.
• Mentor engineers across the chapter on agent engineering practices.
