Kontoor Brands in Mexico is seeking a Senior Manager to oversee IMMEX programs, Annex 24/30, VUCEM, SAT audits and Mexican Customs. You will lead the Mexico Trade Compliance program and act as the SME on VAT controls and regulatory risk across operations.

This leadership role collaborates with Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, Procurement, IT and Legal to ensure compliance, optimize processes, and sustain business continuity across Yucatán operations.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in IMMEX Compliance, Mexican Customs Regulations, Annex 24 & Annex 30, VUCEM, SAT audit management, and trade compliance programs.
• Advanced knowledge of IMMEX Regulations, Mexican Customs Law, VAT compliance, customs inventory controls, and preferential trade agreements.
• Proven experience leading audits, compliance projects, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience with SAP, I-Export, or similar trade compliance systems.
• Professional fluency in English required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the company’s IMMEX compliance program, including Annex 24, Annex 30, VUCEM, customs reporting, and regulatory oversight.
• Serve as the primary company representative during SAT and Mexican Customs audits.
• Develop and enhance compliance frameworks, policies, procedures, controls, and monitoring processes.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks involving inventory controls, VAT balances, customs reporting, material discharges, aging inventory, and scrap management.
• Lead corrective action initiatives, root-cause investigations, and continuous improvement programs.
• Drive optimization and automation of trade compliance systems, including I‑Export and related platforms.
• Partner with business leaders to integrate compliance requirements into operational decision‑making.
• Provide subject matter expertise on USMCA/T‑MEC, TPL, and other applicable preferential trade programs.

Are you a seasoned Trade Compliance professional with deep expertise in IMMEX, Annex 24, Annex 30, VUCEM, SAT audits, and Mexican Customs regulations?

We are looking for a strategic leader to oversee and continuously strengthen our Mexico Trade Compliance Program while serving as the organization’s primary subject matter expert on customs compliance, VAT controls, regulatory risk management, and preferential trade programs.
