Kontoor Brands seeks a seasoned Trade Compliance leader to oversee our Mexico program across IMMEX, Annex 24 and 30, VUCEM, and SAT audits. You will partner with Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, Procurement, IT, and Legal to ensure compliance and uninterrupted operations for our Mexico footprint.

• Bachelor's Degree in International Trade, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Law, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in IMMEX Compliance, Mexican Customs Regulations, VUCEM, and SAT Audit Management.
• Advanced knowledge of IMMEX Regulations, Mexican Customs Law, VAT Compliance, Customs Inventory Controls, and Preferential Trade Agreements.
• Experience with SAP, I-Export, or similar trade compliance systems; English fluency.

Responsabilidades

• Lead IMMEX compliance program including Annex 24, Annex 30, VUCEM, and reporting.
• Serve as primary representative during SAT and Mexican Customs audits.
• Develop and enhance compliance frameworks, policies, controls, and monitoring processes.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks involving inventory controls, VAT balances, and customs reporting.
• Lead corrective actions, root-cause investigations, and continuous improvement programs.
• Drive optimization and automation of trade compliance systems (I-Export and related).
• Partner with business leaders to integrate compliance into operations decision-making.
• Provide SME on USMCA/T-MEC, TPL, and other preferential trade programs.

Are you a seasoned Trade Compliance professional with deep expertise in IMMEX, Annex 24, Annex 30, VUCEM, SAT audits, and Mexican Customs regulations?

We are looking for a strategic leader to oversee and continuously strengthen our Mexico Trade Compliance Program while serving as the organization's primary subject matter expert on customs compliance, VAT controls, regulatory risk management, and preferential trade programs.

This is a high-impact leadership role that partners across Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, Procurement, IT, Legal, and external stakeholders to ensure compliance, operational excellence, and business continuity across our Mexico operations.

What You’ll Do

Lead the company's IMMEX compliance program, including Annex 24, Annex 30, VUCEM, customs reporting, and regulatory oversight.

Serve as the primary company representative during SAT and Mexican Customs audits.

Develop and enhance compliance frameworks, policies, procedures, controls, and monitoring processes.

Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks involving inventory controls, VAT balances, customs reporting, material discharges, aging inventory, and scrap management.

Lead corrective action initiatives, root-cause investigations, and continuous improvement programs.

Drive optimization and automation of trade compliance systems, including I-Export and related platforms.

Partner with business leaders to integrate compliance requirements into operational decision-making.

Provide subject matter expertise on USMCA/T-MEC, TPL, and other applicable preferential trade programs.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor's Degree in International Trade, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Law, or a related field.

5+ years of progressive experience in:

• IMMEX Compliance
• Mexican Customs Regulations
• VUCEM
• SAT Audit Management

Advanced knowledge of:

• IMMEX Regulations
• Mexican Customs Law
• VAT Compliance
• Customs Inventory Controls
• Preferential Trade Agreements

Proven experience leading audits, compliance projects, and cross-functional initiatives.

Experience with SAP, I-Export, or similar trade compliance systems.

Professional fluency in English required.
