Business Operations Analyst (Edge) – HPE

This role has been designated as ‘Edge’, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.

The Finance team at HPE provides world class decision support driving profitable growth and exceptional shareholder value through our commitment to operational excellence, people development, and innovation. We provide accurate and timely financial information meeting the company’s regulatory and fiduciary responsibilities with unwavering integrity. Our objective is to display all business activities in a financially correct and transparent manner. In the Finance division, our reporting and controlling teams are working on tasks like asset management, financial integration of mergers and acquisitions, as well as USGAAP-reporting.

Responsibilities

• Screen the HPE transactions, analysing the requirements of Global Trade according to the Government laws among the world.
• Compliance with HPE transactions and ASS with SPL and embargo restrictions
• Using Excel, including using basic reporting commands
• Working in a transaction and process-team based environment
• Effectively present ideas and solutions to customers, team members, and partners
• Reviews performance metrics on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Researches and analyzes priority projects within established guidelines.
• Communicates requirements and guidelines to the regional and global business unit planning teams.

About you

• First level university degree or equivalent experience
• Basic experience in a supply chain function. Or demonstrated understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make deliver).
• Requires acknowledge and understanding about import and export regulations.

Job Summary: This role is responsible for managing supply chain processes for LATAM Returns Operations with minimum supervision. The role reviews current processes and performance metrics for regional and global planning teams, and identifies opportunities to streamline and optimize operational processes. The role gathers and analyses data, creates reports and dashboards.

Knowledge and skills include data analysis, ERP/SAP, KPIs, Lean, inventory control, procurement, and planning. Cross-Org skills include English and Spanish (Portuguese a plus), MS Office, Power BI.
