Littelfuse in Piedras Negras, Mexico, is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead root cause analyses, drive corrective actions, and ensure KPI targets across production, maintenance, quality, and process control teams.

You will apply MSA, SPC, APQP, FMEA, and ISO 9001 standards, map processes from injection to final assembly, and mentor a team of quality professionals. Strong English and analytical skills are essential for collaboration with global partners.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing (auto sector preferred).
• Experience with global manufacturing companies.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Advanced English.

Responsabilidades

• Root cause & corrective actions (FTA, 8D, 5W, DMAIC, Ishikawa, PDCA).
• Apply tools and standards: MSA, SPC, APQP, FMEA, Control plan, VDA6.3, IATF, ISO 9001.
• Monitor processes and map: Injection, plastic injection, stamping, electronics, final assembly.
• Coordinate root cause analysis within core team and follow-up on actions from KPI or customer complaints.
• Lead KPI monitoring: customer complaints, scrap, FPY, and 5S.
• Lead a team of quality auditors, technicians, and engineers.

The Senior Quality Engineer reports directly to the Quality Manager. This role is mainly focused on the control and tracking of customer claims, ensuring KPIs remain within target levels from a quality assurance perspective. The Senior Engineer will be responsible for participating and leading problem-solving activities within multidisciplinary teams from production, maintenance, quality, and process control.

ABOUT THE JOB

• Root cause & corrective actions (FTA, 8D, 5W, DMAIC, Ishikawa, PDCA).
• Put into practice the tools and standards MSA, SPC, APQP, FMEA, Control plan, VDA6.3, IATF, ISO 9001.
• Monitoring the management of processes and mapping them such as: Injection, plastic injection, stamping processes, electronics manufacturing processes, final assembly processes.
• Coordinate root cause analysis within the core team, process mapping, and follow-up on internal and external corrective actions resulting from KPI or customer complaint analysis.
• Lead the monitoring of KPI compliance, including customer complaint scrap, FPY, and 5S.
• Experience using Minitab.
• This role is in charge of leading a team.
• Leads a team of quality auditors, quality technicians, and quality engineers.

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor's or university degree in Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry (preferably in the automotive sector)
• Experience with global manufacturing companies
