Servicios Comerciales Amazon Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V. in Ciudad de México is seeking a Sr Program Manager, short term planner to align demand and supply across the 13- to 52-week horizon, driving improvements for customer experience and on-time delivery.

You’ll partner with operations, finance, and leadership to forecast, plan capacity, and design new solutions that enhance performance while meeting quality goals. Fluency in English is required, and an MBA is a plus.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 6+ years owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • Fluent in English written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

  • Manage the short and medium term forecast, capacity and peak planning for the MX network.
  • Work with operations to set optimal inventory plans, targets and choices to meet on-time delivery goals.
  • Define a near-term vision and plan to deliver it with continuous delivery and improved customer experience.
  • Inspect demand forecasts and capacity plans and challenge assumptions from business teams.
  • Provide high-quality inputs and align with finance and leadership using data-backed documents and models.
  • Identify and evaluate risks/obstacles within internal and external environments.

As a Sr Program Manager, you will be the subject matter expert in gathering and forecasting demand from customers, running transportation capacity analysis, running simulation and scenarios for leadership, and synchronizing our supply and demand over the 13 week to 52 week horizon in order to meet our customer's needs.

Key job responsibilities
  • Manage the short and medium term forecast, capacity and peak planning for the Amazon MX network
  • Work in partnership with operations team to set optimal IB inventory plans, targets and choices to meet on-time delivery goals
  • Define a near term vision and plan to deliver it driving continuous delivery customer experience improvement by collaborating with stakeholders on design of new solutions that enhance business performance and achieve established quality and efficiency goals
  • Inspect demand forecasts, capacity plans critically and challenge assumptions from business teams
  • Provide high quality inputs and garner alignment with finance and leadership teams using a combination of in-person meetings, well written data backed documents, detailed business models or presentations
  • Identify and evaluate potential risks/obstacles within both internal and external business environment with minimal direction
A day in the life

You attend daily business reviews and understand whats happening to key network metrics. You spend time with strategy & ops teams to find ways to meet customer expectations. You write quality documents that seek to plan, inform & align internal stakeholders. You challenge the status quo and drive data based decision making within your team. Additionally, you are always ready to jump in and take charge when problems and challenges emerge.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6+ years of owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA, or Master's degree
