Flex is a diversified manufacturing partner. We are seeking a Sr. Process Engineering Manager in Guadalajara to lead a team of process engineers, improve capabilities, and deliver manufacturable product processes that meet customer specs and cost targets.

You will drive process documentation, scale throughput, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives while mentoring talent and applying robust root-cause methods.

Formación

• Engineering degree or bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of metalworking processes is mandatory.
• Experience in similar roles is required.
• English advanced communication skills.
• Experience in Production Line Balancing and final assembly balance.
• Broad manufacturing engineering knowledge and program execution excellence.
• Product industrialization expertise and customer-facing leadership.
• Capability to influence design decisions to improve risk management and quality tools.
• Structured root-cause methodologies: 8D, DMAIC, Ishikawa, Fault Tree, A3 Thinking.

Responsabilidades

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Sr. Process Engineering Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to Sr Director, Mechanical Engineering, the Sr. Process Engineering Manager is responsible for managing a team of process engineers working on improving process engineering capabilities to support a specific area of a manufacturing organization.

What a typical day looks like:

• Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain statistical process control systems.
• Establish and improve process capabilities.
• Develop and maintain process documentation.
• Manage development projects that are designed to meet customer product specifications, delivery, and cost expectations.
• Work with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
• Improve throughput in constrained areas.
• Develop, test, and implement new materials and processes for improved performance and/or lower cost and manage cost reduction efforts in assigned process areas.
• Partner with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
• Coordinate initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas.
• Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team (required):

• Engineering degree or bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of metalworking processes is mandatory.
