Flex is seeking an Assembly Process Engineer in Guadalajara North to develop and implement assembly processes that meet quality, productivity, and safety standards. You will work with cross-functional teams and report to the Process Manager.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering, experience with mechanical/electronic assembly, PLCs, and tooling like Poka-Yoke. You will drive continuous improvement, monitor KPIs, and help SpinCo align with future digital

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electronics, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience with mechanical and/or electronic assembly processes.
• Knowledge of PLCs, pneumatic systems, and quality tools.

Develop and implement mechanical assembly processes capable of ensuring process stability, capacity, and continuous improvement while meeting quality, productivity, and safety standards.

What a typical day looks like:

• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and operational performance.
• Provide specialized technical support to manufacturing and cross-functional teams, ensuring timely resolution of process-related issues.
• Lead and manage projects from planning through execution, ensuring objectives, timelines, and budgets are achieved.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, waste reduction, and process optimization.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and operational procedures.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in mechanical and/or electronic assembly processes.
• Technical knowledge of:
• Smart Torque Systems
• PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers)
• Liquid Cooling Systems
• Pneumatics
• Poka-Yoke Systems
• Industrial Maintenance
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Scrap reduction.
• First Pass Yield (FPY) improvement.
