Flex is seeking a Product Engineer for Guadalajara's North Campus to support New Product Introductions and design changes, ensuring manufacturing readiness and design integrity.

You will analyze customer documents, lead DFx and DOE activities, coordinate with engineering and production teams, and drive ECOS and MRP improvements while supporting 2nd/3rd shift. Fluency in English and prior electronics manufacturing experience are required. You will assist cost reduction and BOM analysis.

Formación

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in electronic manufacturing environments.
• Leadership in NPI implementation.
• Experience with agile.
• Lead the implementation of ECOS.
• Fluent English.
• Knowledge in MRP (Baan, Flex flow) is a plus.
• Availability to work 2nd and 3rd shift.

Responsabilidades

• Support production by assessing product engineering issues on the production line.
• Interact with customer and departments on product issues—engineering changes, new model development.
• Customer BOM analysis and structure definition for production.
• Participate in cost reduction activities in material, inventory, and scrap reduction.
• Conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM), tolerance analysis, DOE, form-fit-function to determine root cause and reporting to customer.
• Analyze and determine actions for PCN and MCO.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Product Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Project Manager the role involves responsabilities for receiving, analyze, clean, and customize all technical information/documentation from the customer related to his product, derived from a New Product Introduction (NPI) or a design change in order to establish all necessary processes to manufacture it by maintaining its design and performance integrity.

What a typical day looks like:

• Support production by assessing product engineering issues of diverse scope that arise on production line.
• Interact with customer and various departments on product related issues – engineering changes, new model development.
• Customer´s Bill of Material (BOM) analysis and structure definition for production.
• Participate to cost reduction activities in areas like material, inventory, and scrap reduction.
• Conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM), tolerance analysis, Design of Experiment (DOE), form-fit-function to determine failure root/cause analysis and reporting to customer.
• Analyze and determine course of action of Product Change Notification (PCN) and Manufacturing Change Order (MCO).

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in similar position in electronic manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge with implementation engineering changes.
• Leadership in NPI implementation.
• Experience with agile.
• Lead the implementation of ECOS.
• Fluent English.
• Knowledge in MRP (Baan, Flex flow) is also a plus.
• Availability to work 2nd and 3rd shift.
