BRADY DE MEXICO S DE RL DE CV in El Marqués, Querétaro, seeks a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to lead process improvements in flexography, printing, and label packaging. You will drive projects, optimize layouts, and implement cost-saving initiatives with minimal supervision.

You will apply Lean tools (5S, VSM, Kaizen, SMED), maintain SOPs, FMEAs, and BOMs, and analyze data to support decisions. English proficiency required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related engineering field.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing engineering role within ISO 9001/IATF environments.
• Experience in flexography, printing processes, and label packaging.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and project management software.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge; Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus.
• Intermediate English, written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Drive manufacturing projects, product/process transfers, and plant layout optimizations using structured management tools.
• Lead Lean initiatives (VSM, 5S, Kaizen, SMED, Poka-Yoke) to eliminate waste and improve cycle times.
• Maintain SOPs, Control Plans, FMEAs, Process Flows, and BOMs aligned with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949.
• Conduct statistical data analysis to calculate production/labor costs and support decisions.
• Support pilot runs, investigate quality issues, and ensure equipment maintenance.

We are looking for a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer based in El Marqués, Querétaro to join our team! Are you an experienced engineer with a strong background in flexography, printing processes, and the label and packaging industry? Do you have a passion for continuous improvement, process optimization, and hands‑on project leadership?

In this position, you will develop and optimize manufacturing processes, execute continuous improvement initiatives, and lead key projects—such as layout updates, workflow enhancements, product transfers, and equipment acquisitions with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive manufacturing projects, product/process transfers, and plant layout optimizations using structured management tools (Project Charters, Gantt charts, and communication plans).
• Lead Lean initiatives (VSM, 5S, Kaizen, SMED, Poka-Yoke) to eliminate waste, improve cycle times, and calculate monthly savings.
• Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Control Plans, FMEAs, Process Flows, and BOMs in alignment with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 standards.
• Conduct statistical data analysis to calculate production/labor costs, analyze capacities, and support decision-making.
• Support pilot runs, investigate quality issues, and ensure equipment maintenance and operational efficiency.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar manufacturing engineering role within an ISO 9001 certified environment (IATF 16949 preferred).
• Proven experience in flexography, printing processes, and the label and packaging industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (plant layouts/drawings) and project management software (MS Project).
• Hands‑on Lean Manufacturing knowledge. Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus.
• Intermediate conversational and written English.
• Leadership, analytical problem-solving, teamwork, orientation to results, and high integrity.
