Amazon Transportation Services in Mexico City is seeking an Inbound First Mile Transportation Sr. Manager to shape inbound strategy and ensure flawless execution across sellers, vendors and fulfillment locations.
You will own end-to-end programs, define multi-year roadmaps, lead a cross-functional team, and partner with Finance, Product, and Ops to optimize cost, speed, and reliability for Amazon's growing network.
This role play a critical role in shaping Amazon's inbound transportation strategy while delivering a best-in-class sellers and vendor experience. This position balances long-term network strategy with flawless operational execution to support Amazon's rapidly growing fulfillment network.
This position is the single-threaded owner of Amazon's Inbound First Mile transportation programs across Mexico, leading both execution and long-term strategy across multiple transportation products. This role owns the end-to-end transportation experience from sellers, vendors and external fulfillment locations into Amazon Fulfillment Centers and Sort Centers ensuring capacity, speed, cost efficiency and operational excellence.
The successful candidate will lead a diverse organization responsible for multiple transportation programs including Warehouse Transfers, External Fulfillment, We-Pay, Partner Carrier Program (PCP), Vendor Inbound Transportation, Vendor Returns (VRETs) and future strategic initiatives. The role partners closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, Product, Tech, ACES and Global Transportation teams to build scalable transportation solutions supporting Amazon's long-term growth.
This leader combines strong business judgment, analytical rigor and executive communication skills to influence senior stakeholders, drive organizational alignment and define the long-term roadmap for Amazon's inbound transportation network.
Lead Amazon’s Inbound First Mile transportation network by balancing daily execution with long-term strategy. Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, Product, Tech, ACES, and external carriers to improve cost, speed, capacity, and reliability. Review business metrics, resolve operational escalations, drive carrier performance, and identify opportunities through data and analytics. Lead strategic programs including Warehouse Transfers, We-Pay, External Fulfillment, and Partner Carrier Program (PCP). Build scalable mechanisms, influence product roadmaps, and implement automation and AI solutions. Present business reviews to senior leadership, develop high-performing teams, and define network strategies that support Amazon’s future growth and customer experience.
