Alcon is seeking a Sr. Associate Supply Chain Planning in Mexico City (Hybrid).

You will align sales forecasts with production capacities, manage finished goods inventory, and optimize distribution strategies to enhance performance for Contact Lenses. You will analyze historical data to predict demand and allocate resources, working with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient operations and regulatory compliance in a global setting.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.

As a Sr. Associate Supply Chain Planning supporting the Contact Lens Supply team, you will be responsible for aligning sales forecasts with production capacities, inventory levels, and distribution strategies to optimize business performance for Contact Lenses. Responsible for planning, controlling, and managing finished goods inventory to meet production and customer requirements. Responsible for analyzing historical data and market trends to predict product or service demand and optimize resource allocation.

This role is part of Alcon's Supply Chain function, a team that manages logistics, inventory management, and supply chain analytics for Alcon's industry leading products to ensure products are delivered efficiently and effectively so that people can see brilliantly. The Sr. Associate I, Supply Chain Planning (Professional Path), is primarily responsible for aligning sales forecasts with production capacities, inventory levels, and distribution strategies to enhance business performance. You will independently manage inventory, predict demand, and optimize resources, directly impacting operational efficiency.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Plan, control, and manage finished goods inventory to meet production and customer requirements while aligning sales forecasts with production capacities, inventory levels, and distribution strategies to enhance business performance
• Analyze historical data and market trends to predict demand and optimize resource allocation
• Work independently with minimal supervision, applying advanced knowledge and skills to ensure efficient and effective operations
• Adhere to Good Practice (GxP) regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring rigorous quality control
• Complete all required training and meet individual job requirements

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Education: Bachelor's degree
• Advanced level of English
• 3-5 years of experience related
• Experience with reporting tools as excel,
• Experience with planning, inventory management, cross collaboration skills
• Associate must be a problem solver and have proactive and analytical thinking skills
