Alcon is seeking a Data Analyst to support the US Accounts Receivable Operations team from Mexico City in a hybrid role. You will modernize reporting processes, improve data quality, and develop dashboards and reporting solutions that enable informed decision-making.

Responsibilities include collaborating with AR Operations to deliver accurate reports, building dashboards in Tableau/Power BI, and leveraging SQL and ETL/ELT in an AWS‑like environment to transform data and automate recurring

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, computer science, information systems, finance, economics or related field.
• 2+ years of data analytics, BI, reporting, automation experience.
• Intermediate SQL skills and ETL/ELT experience.
• Experience building dashboards with Tableau/Power BI.
• Exposure to cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Strong English communication and cross‑functional collaboration.

As a Data Analyst supporting the US Accounts Receivable Operations team, you will be trusted to help modernize reporting processes, improve data quality, and support automation initiatives that enable operational excellence. Based in Mexico City, you will play a key role in maintaining critical reporting activities, preparing data for business use, and developing dashboards and reporting solutions that support informed decision‑making.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Collaborating with Accounts Receivable Operations teams to support reporting processes, improve data accuracy, and identify opportunities for automation.
• Developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Tableau and Power BI to deliver meaningful business insights.
• Utilizing SQL and ETL/ELT processes to prepare, validate, and transform data from multiple sources within an AWS environment.
• Supporting the automation of recurring reports and helping ensure consistency, reliability, and scalability across reporting solutions.
• Serving as a trusted resource for reporting-related questions, data validation activities, and continuous improvement initiatives across the AR function.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, automation, or related analytical functions.
• Intermediate SQL skills with experience querying and manipulating large data sets.
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes, data validation, and reporting automation.
• Experience developing dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and/or Power BI.
• Exposure to cloud‑based environments, preferably AWS.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to translate business requirements into reporting and analytical solutions.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal; fully bilingual proficiency is preferred.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively within cross‑functional teams.
