Job summary

Genpact in Mexico is seeking a Sr. Associate - F&A (I2C) to support cash application, AR processes, and reconciliations across entities within a real estate client portfolio. You will handle collections, validate remittances, and maintain DRR in a timely, accurate manner.

Provide SOP updates, respond to client inquiries, and collaborate across departments to close disputes and match orders to ledgers. English proficiency required; hybrid work setup in Day shift (Mexico).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degrees in accounting, commerce, economics or finance.
• Masters degree in finance is a plus.
• Experience with AR/AP processes in a real estate context is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make collection calls to customers and manage invoicing requests.
• Process cash application and allocate payments per remittance.
• Collaborate across AR entities to manage aged receivables and DRR.
• Create and update SOPs and other process updates as needed.
• Resolve client queries and disputes to ensure timely closures.

Job Description

Making collection calls to the customers, emailing/faxing invoices or getting hard copies mailed out to customers as per their requests. Understanding of all aspects of Cash allocation in accordance with customer remittances including deep validation experience and report out to business. Cash Application Allocating payments in accordance with customer remittances. Collaborating closely between all entities of AR (different entities) and keep track of all aged receivables including current ageing buckets. Act as Subject Matter Specialist for the AR processes, complete know-how and understanding of the AR value chain. Experience of working with a real estate client will be a preference. Create and update the Standard Operations Procedure and other updates received from time to time. Should be able to deal with clients for any query or information. Identify and resolve unidentified cash and manage end to end process of Cash applications. Process cash application functions to invoices at assigned sites ensuring the DRR (Daily Receipt Reconciliation) is completed in a timely, accurate, and confidential manner. Follow up on customer/internal disputes, customer questions and working between departments to get a resolution. Reconcile orders to match customer books, including validating credits or debits and sending them to customer for collection or refund
