Brose Fahrzeugteile GmbH & Co. KG in Querétaro, Mexico, is seeking an Industrial Engineer to coordinate all incoming quality operations and act as the strategic liaison with Quality Engineers to resolve product and logistics issues.

The role requires 3–5 years in a similar field, strong GD&T, 8D and PPAP experience, and advanced English. The position may require travel to the United States subject to work authorization and Covid travel restrictions, within a modern working environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, mechanical, automation engineering or equivalent.
• Strong experience with GD&T, 8D problem solving and PPAP.
• 3–5 years in a similar role or related field.
• Advanced English is mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for coordinating and overseeing all incoming quality operations, acting as the strategic liaison with Quality Engineers to resolve product and logistics-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with purchased parts inspection procedures and sample adjustment processes.
• Define and implement incoming quality plans based on current IATF 16949 requirements for all components.
• Manage PPAP status ensuring that no deviations impact production.
• Monitor supplier performance, ensuring the effective closure of inspection findings and the timely implementation of corrective actions (8D reports).
• Lead continuous improvement of the Quality Management System through the execution of Layered Process Audits (LPA), process audits, and cost optimization projects.
• Act as the primary communication channel to report and resolve quality and delivery performance non-conformance issues.
• Communicate changes and updates from SQE and verifiers via and ensure audit trail of all outgoing communications are maintained.
• Responsible for all internal Policies, Procedures relating to SQE Delivery ensuring up to date in line.
• Lead role in external audit, approval visits and system verification audits.

Your Profile

• Bachelor´s degree Industrial, mechanic, automatization, etc. Engineer.
• Stong experience working with GD&T, 8Ds and PPAP.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in similar position or related field.
• Advanced English is mandatory to be considered.
• Proactive and self-organization.
