Job summary

Brose seeks a quality-focused professional in Mexico to coordinate incoming quality operations and liaise with Quality Engineers to resolve product and logistics issues. The role requires strong GD&T, 8D and PPAP experience and 3–5 years in a similar field.

Advanced English is mandatory. The candidate will drive continuous improvements in the Quality Management System and manage PPAP status to avoid production delays, while ensuring compliance with IATF 16949 requirements and supplier

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Automation Engineering.
• Strong GD&T, 8D and PPAP experience.
• 3–5 years in a similar role.
• Advanced English is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee incoming quality operations; liaise with Quality Engineers to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with inspection procedures for purchased parts and sample adjustments.
• Define and implement incoming quality plans per IATF 16949 for all components.
• Manage PPAP status to ensure deviations do not impact production.
• Monitor supplier performance; close inspection findings and implement corrective actions (8D).
• Lead continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (LPA, audits, cost optimization).
• Act as primary channel to report and resolve quality and delivery non-conformances.
• Communicate SQE changes and maintain audit trail of outgoing communications.
• Ensure internal policies/procedures relating to SQE delivery are up to date.
• Lead external audits, approval visits and system verification audits.

Your Tasks

• Responsible for coordinating and overseeing all incoming quality operations, acting as the strategic liaison with Quality Engineers to resolve product and logistics-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with purchased parts inspection procedures and sample adjustment processes.
• Define and implement incoming quality plans based on current IATF 16949 requirements for all components.
• Manage PPAP status ensuring that no deviations impact production.
• Monitor supplier performance, ensuring the effective closure of inspection findings and the timely implementation of corrective actions (8D reports).
• Lead continuous improvement of the Quality Management System through the execution of Layered Process Audits (LPA), process audits, and cost optimization projects.
• Act as the primary communication channel to report and resolve quality and delivery performance non-conformance issues.
• Communicate changes and updates from SQE and verifiers via and ensure audit trail of all outgoing communications are maintained.
• Responsible for all internal Policies, Procedures relating to SQE Delivery ensuring up to date in line.
• Lead role in external audit, approval visits and system verification audits.

Your Profile

• Bachelor´s degree Industrial, mechanic, automatization, etc. Engineer.
• Stong experience working with GD&T, 8Ds and PPAP.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in similar position or related field.
• Advanced English is mandatory to be considered.
• Proactive and self-organization.
