Job summary

Pandora Mexico City is seeking a dynamic Specialist, Tax Lead Accountant to join the LATAM GBS Finance team. You will support tax-related accounting, RTR processes, and month-end closes, ensuring IFRS compliance and balance sheet integrity for LATAM entities.

You will collaborate with Group Tax, internal stakeholders, and external advisors to ensure accurate reporting, audits preparation, and continuous process improvement in tax and RTR workflows.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience with accounting, finance or tax in an international company.
• Indirect tax knowledge is an advantage.
• Experience with ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics AX is preferred.
• Strong MS Excel skills and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support tax-related accounting activities within RTR operations.
• Contribute to month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations for LATAM entities.
• Ensure IFRS compliance and accurate tax reporting.
• Collaborate with Group Tax, internal stakeholders, and external advisors.
• Assist audits and drive continuous improvement of tax/RTR processes.

Pandora is looking for a dynamic and business-savvy Specialist, Tax Lead Accountantin Mexico City, Mexico.

Main purpose of the role:

The Senior Tax Accountant supports the GBS Finance organization by performing tax-related accounting activities while actively contributing to Record to Report (RTR) operations, with a strong focus on month-end close activities, balance sheet integrity, and compliance with IFRS standards.

The role ensures accurate and timely processing of tax-related accounting entries, balance sheet reconciliations for LATAM entities. In addition to tax compliance support, the position plays a key role in month-end and year-end closing processes, including activities related to IFRS16 lease accounting, AUC (Assets Under Construction), and balance sheet account analysis.

Collaborates closely with internal stakeholders, the Group Tax team, and external advisors (KPMG) to ensure proper tax reporting, statutory compliance, and alignment with group accounting policies.

The role also supports audits, internalcontrols, and continuous improvement of both tax and RTR processes within the GBS structure.

What We Are Looking For:

• 1-3 years of experience with accounting, finance or tax department from an international company.
• Work experience in indirect tax return preparation/review would be an advantage.
• Preferably knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar ERP system
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and particularly in MS Excel
