Keysight Technologies busca un Solutions Engineer, Advanced para liderar soluciones de pruebas funcionales en México y LatAm. Colaborará con gerentes de cuenta, clientes y equipos de producto para convertir requerimientos en arquitecturas de solución y guiar proyectos desde calificación técnica hasta despliegue.

El/la candidato/a ideal debe tener experiencia en integración de sistemas, desarrollo de software de prueba y gestión de proyectos, con fluidez en español e inglés de negocio y

Formación

• Título en ingeniería eléctrica, ingeniería informática, mecatrónica, informática, ingeniería de software, física o disciplina técnica relacionada.
• Experiencia de 4–5 años en ingeniería de soluciones, ingeniería de aplicaciones o campos afines a nivel Advanced Solutions Engineer.
• Experiencia en diseño e implementación de sistemas de pruebas automatizadas o soluciones de pruebas de manufactura.
• Fluidez en español y dominio del inglés en ambiente profesional.
• Disposición para viajar aproximadamente 25–40% dentro de México y Latinoamérica.

Responsabilidades

• Interactuar con clientes y equipos de ingeniería para entender requisitos técnicos y objetivos del negocio.
• Conducir sesiones de descubrimiento, demostraciones y talleres técnicos.
• Desarrollar arquitecturas de soluciones y diagramas de sistema a nivel tecnológico.

Overview

The Solutions Engineer, Advanced is responsible for providing technical leadership, solution development, and project execution support for Keysight's Functional Test solutions portfolio across Mexico and Latin America. Working closely with account managers, customers, application engineers, and product divisions, this role identifies customer requirements, develops solution architectures, and guides opportunities from technical qualification through deployment and project delivery.

The successful candidate will engage directly with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams within automotive, medical, industrial, and electronics manufacturing organizations to address complex test challenges. This role combines customer-facing technical consulting, system architecture, programming, project management, and solution implementation responsibilities to help customers improve product quality, increase manufacturing efficiency, and accelerate time-to-market through Keysight's test and measurement solutions.

Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Technical Consulting

• Engage directly with customer engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to understand technical requirements and business objectives.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions to identify customer challenges, application requirements, and success criteria.
• Deliver product presentations, solution demonstrations, and technical workshops.
• Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and serve as a technical advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support customer evaluations, proof-of-concept activities, and solution acceptance processes.

Solution Architecture & System Design

• Analyze customer requirements and develop system-level Functional Test solution architectures.
• Define hardware, software, instrumentation, switching, data acquisition, and automation requirements.
• Create technical proposals, system diagrams, implementation plans, and architecture documentation.
• Design scalable test solutions that address customer requirements for quality, throughput, reliability, traceability, and cost.
• Collaborate with Keysight product divisions and third-party partners to develop complete customer solutions.

Project Management & Delivery

• Lead project execution activities from solution definition through deployment and customer acceptance.
• Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate internal resources, partners, and customer stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Track project status, technical issues, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Manage scope, timelines, and customer expectations throughout the implementation process.
• Provide regular project updates to both customer and internal stakeholders.

Software Development & Test Automation

• Develop, modify, and support test software and automation solutions used within customer environments.
• Create scripts, test sequences, data acquisition routines, and application workflows required for customer solutions.
• Support integration of software applications, databases, and manufacturing systems when required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software, automation, and system integration issues.
• Contribute to reusable software modules, templates, and best practices that improve project execution efficiency.

Sales & Opportunity Support

• Partner with account managers to support territory growth objectives.
• Participate throughout the sales cycle from opportunity qualification through technical closure.
• Communicate Keysight's competitive advantages and technical differentiation.
• Support RFIs, RFQs, technical reviews, and customer proposal activities.
• Assist in identifying and developing new opportunities within existing customer accounts.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with application engineers, product divisions, R&D, services teams, and business development resources to address customer requirements.
• Escalate and drive resolution of technical issues impacting strategic opportunities and customer projects.
• Provide customer feedback to influence future product and solution development.
• Develop reusable solution architectures, demonstration assets, software tools, and implementation best practices.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
• Typically 4-5 years of relevant experience in solutions engineering, applications engineering, test engineering, manufacturing engineering, automation engineering, or related technical fields consistent with the Advanced Solutions Engineer level.
• Experience designing and implementing automated test systems or manufacturing test solutions.
• Strong knowledge of system architecture and integration principles.
• Experience managing technical projects involving multiple stakeholders and deliverables.
• Experience developing software, automation scripts, or test applications.
• Working knowledge of functional test, manufacturing test, or product validation methodologies.
• Ability to independently lead customer technical engagements and project activities.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent Spanish and business-level English proficiency.
• Ability to travel approximately 25-40% throughout Mexico and Latin America.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting automotive, medical device, industrial automation, or electronics manufacturing customers.
• Experience with EMS providers, contract manufacturers, or automotive Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers.
• Experience acting as a project manager or technical lead on customer-facing projects.
• Knowledge of automated test equipment (ATE), functional test architectures, and production test methodologies.
• Experience with switching, data acquisition, PXI, power electronics, digital test, RF, wireless, or mixed-signal technologies.
• Programming experience using Python, C#, LabVIEW, TestStand, MATLAB, or similar environments.
• Experience integrating test systems with MES, ERP, traceability, or manufacturing data systems.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
• Experience supporting multinational customers operating manufacturing facilities across Latin America.
