Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Software Test Engineer to contribute to the quality and testing of POS and enterprise retail solutions. The role translates client requirements, designs, and user scenarios into clear manual and automated tests within an Agile team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on test design, execution, defect management, and automation experience, and will independently deliver assigned work while communicating risks clearly.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4–5 years of professional software test engineering or QA experience.
• Solid understanding of test methodologies, layers, and SDLC.
• Hands-on with test design, execution, coverage analysis, and defect lifecycle.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze designs, specs, client requirements, and test coverage to validate features.
• Design and maintain manual and automated test cases for functional, API, and regression testing.
• Execute tests, document results, report defects with evidence, track issues to resolution.
• Assess coverage and identify gaps, dependencies, and quality risks; provide effort estimates.
• Set up and maintain test environments (hardware, software, data, configs).
• Create and maintain test plans, installation procedures, and reusable assets.
• Support release readiness, deployment validation, and post-release investigations.
