Ellucian is seeking a Software Engineer I to join our platform engineering team in Mexico. You will contribute to AI-enabled features, APIs, and modern web experiences that power Ellucian's ecosystem, including the Ellucian Marketplace.

You will work with backend services, frontend-backend integrations, and learn data integration, automation, and secure coding practices in an agile environment. A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is expected.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience designing or building backend services, APIs, or web applications.
• Familiarity with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java and API integrations.
• Awareness of AI concepts, data privacy, and secure coding practices.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to AI-enabled features, APIs, and web experiences.
• Develop and maintain secure, well-documented APIs for platform integrations.
• Collaborate with teammates across engineering, product, and architecture.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and code reviews.
