Job summary

Brillio in Mexico is seeking a Lead Engineer to drive design and development of scalable Java applications using Spring Boot and microservices. You will architect RESTful APIs, guide front-end work in Angular/React, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

The role requires 4+ years of hands-on Java full-stack experience, strong REST and SQL skills, and a proven track record in Agile environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a closely related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years hands-on Java full-stack development with microservices.
• Experience designing scalable RESTful APIs and front-end interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Core, and Hibernate.
• Proficiency in CI/CD, unit/integration testing, and Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and maintenance of scalable enterprise Java apps with microservices.
• Architect and implement RESTful APIs and web services for cross-platform integration.
• Guide front-end development using Angular or React for better UX.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, QA, and stakeholders to define requirements.
• Enforce clean code, conduct reviews, and optimize performance.
• Develop unit and integration tests with JUnit and Mockito.
• Drive agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and continuous improvement.
