Job summary

ASIO is seeking a Social Media Video Editor in Cancún to turn raw material into engaging shorts for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube. You’ll help the team publish consistently, choose the best moments from webinars and calls, and craft demos from screen recordings.

You’ll need 2+ years of editing experience, strong skills in CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve, plus a good eye for pacing and subtitles. Fluency in Spanish and English is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of short-form video editing for social media or a strong portfolio.
• Proficient in CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong sense of pacing, hooks, and mobile subtitle styling.
• Native or fluent Spanish; good written and spoken English.
• Ability to manage several projects and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating with a small team.
• Portfolio or examples of recent work is required.

ASIO is an AI growth platform for service businesses in Latin America. Our AI runs marketing campaigns, answers WhatsApp messages, makes calls and books appointments, so business owners can spend their time on their clients.

We record a lot every week: live webinars, one-on-one calls with users, product demos and customer stories. As our Social Media Video Editor, you’ll turn that material into short videos that show what ASIO does and how it helps real businesses grow.

In this role, success means our social channels post consistently, our videos hold attention, and more people discover ASIO through the content you create. You’ll work closely with the marketing and content team, and with the people who run our webinars and user calls. That puts you close to both the product and our community.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts, adapting each one to the format and audience of the platform
• Review webinar and user-call recordings to find the strongest moments, and cut them into clear, engaging clips
• Turn product screen recordings into short demos that show how ASIO’s features work in practice
• Add subtitles, motion text, transitions and sound design that keep a consistent ASIO look and feel
• Write or suggest hooks and on-screen text that grab attention in the first seconds
• Manage a library of raw footage, finished videos and reusable assets so the team can find what it needs
• Track how each video performs and use the results to improve formats, length and style over time
• Meet a regular publishing schedule while handling quick requests for launches and announcements

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience editing short-form video for social media, or an equivalent portfolio
• Strong skills in CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or similar tools
• A good sense of pacing, storytelling, hooks and subtitle styling for mobile viewers
• Native or fluent Spanish, plus good written and spoken English
• Ability to manage several projects at once and deliver on deadlines
• Comfortable taking feedback and working iteratively with a small team
• Basic knowledge of social media analytics (a plus)
• Experience with motion graphics or AI video tools (a plus)
• A portfolio or examples of recent work (required)
