Collins Aerospace in Mexicali seeks an experienced manufacturing leader to drive daily operations, meet production goals, and optimize schedules and staffing. You will implement production plans, improve efficiency, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver quality products within budget.

The role requires extensive SMT process knowledge, Six Sigma/Lean experience, and strong bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish. Some travel to the United States may be required.

Formación

• University degree in manufacturing, electronics, mechanical or related engineering and 8 years of prior relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years in leadership roles.
• Experience in SMT processes: Pick and Place, Solder Paste, Panel routing, AOI, ICT.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Relevant experience leading a Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing process.
• Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration among Engineering, Operations, Program Office, and Business Development.

Responsabilidades

• Hold accountability for daily operation and meeting production goals.
• Implements production plans and provides feedback on product introduction, equipment efficiency, materials supply constraints, schedules and staffing requirements.
• Implement activities to ensure timely, high quality production at the lowest cost.
• Provide focus to the production team to meet quality, schedule and cost expectations.
• Develop and execute detailed project plans, ensuring effective communication with internal and external teams.
• Manage and resolve conflicts in cross-functional environments; negotiate and promote collaboration.
• Occasional travel to the United States and visa may be required.
• Requires proficiency in English and Spanish for effective communication.
