Job summary

Flowserve Corporation is seeking a site-based procurement professional to manage casting-related P2P activities and lower total cost of acquisition for direct and indirect materials, services, and logistics. The role collaborates with the Global Supply Chain team to execute strategies and meet operational objectives.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of casting/pattern experience, a technical background, and the ability to read industrial pump drawings.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to communicate effectively across teams.
• Bilingual English and Spanish verbal and written skills.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management capabilities.
• Basic data analysis capabilities for cost and performance.
• 2 years of Casting/Pattern experience in a similar role.
• Technical background preferred for pump components and products.
• Ability to read and understand industrial pump part drawings.

Responsibilities

• Cost Reduction: in line with the departmental or functional annual targets
• Support Forecast owners meet or exceed monthly/quarterly goals
• Timely delivery: ensure production need by dates and supplier promise dates meet operational requirements to achieve customer promise dates.
• Accurate Purchase Requisition Conversion: quick turnaround time to convert material demand into Purchase Orders
• Purchase Order Management: manage ERP exception messages to support inventory and changes
• At all times comply with Flowserve Safety, Integrity & Ethics procedures/policies
• Compliance with Flowserve Supply Chain policies & procedures
