Job summary

Itchome is hiring a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications and workflows in a hybrid setup in Monterrey or CDMX. You will implement server-side and client-side scripts, build integrations with REST/SOAP, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

The role requires 2+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development, strong JavaScript skills, and familiarity with Glide APIs, Studio, and data modeling.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on ServiceNow development experience (not admin).
• Strong JavaScript and server-side/client-side scripting in ServiceNow.
• Experience with Glide APIs and ServiceNow Studio.
• Experience building integrations (REST, SOAP, Web Services, Integration Hub).
• Understanding of ServiceNow data model, tables, and relationships.
• English proficiency: B2+ for daily international communication.

Required Experience in:

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize applications and workflows on the ServiceNow platform.
• Write server-side and client-side scripts using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and UI Policies.
• Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other systems (REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, Integration Hub, etc.).
• Develop custom applications, tables, forms, and workflows using ServiceNow Studio and App Engine.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and debug scripts and application issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architects, analysts, QA) to deliver scalable solutions.
• Follow best practices for code quality, version control, and documentation.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on development experience with the ServiceNow platform (as a developer, not as an end-user/admin of ITSM processes).
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and server-side/client-side scripting within ServiceNow (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies).
• Experience with Glide APIs and ServiceNow Studio.
• Experience building integrations (REST, SOAP, Web Services, Integration Hub, or similar).
• Understanding of ServiceNow data model, tables, and relationships.
• English proficiency: B2 or higher (written and spoken) — required for daily communication with international teams.

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Experience with any ServiceNow module (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, GRC, App Engine, etc.).
• ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, or module-specific implementation certifications).
• Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, or Performance Analytics.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
