Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking an Integrated Solutions Well Engineer based in Mexico to drive well construction projects from concept through execution. You will prepare design and operational plans, engage with service delivery, HSE, finance and sales, and ensure adherence to standards and customer requirements.

The role emphasizes technical input across well construction, completions, intervention and abandonment, with involvement in tendering and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or Mechanical/Chemical Engineering; MS in Petroleum/Oil & Gas or Well Engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in well construction, completions, intervention and/or optimization.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication; ability to convey complex topics clearly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare basic well design, technical requirements, and operational plans to meet technical and financial goals.
• Drive engagement with service delivery, HSE, finance, commercial and sales.
• Prepare well design, plan and operational procedures for construction, completion, intervention and/or abandonment.
• Define technical services and third party requirements and prepare time and cost estimates.
• Collaborate with internal and external parties and prepare risk registers and contingency plans.
