EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior UI Tech Artist to define and unify UI tech art across a game experience using Unreal Engine 5. You will mentor UI artists, craft materials, transitions, and motion language while balancing fidelity with platform performance.

The role emphasizes collaboration with UX/UI and visual design, cross-platform planning, and optimization of shaders and VFX for responsive UI across screens and states.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Technical Artist, UI Tech Artist, or VFX Artist with UI/front-end game experience.

Responsabilidades

• Define UI tech art systems, templates, thematics and principles for forward-looking UI.
• Craft polished, performant UI tech art solutions using materials, UMG, animation, FX, lighting, Blueprints, and camera tools in UE4/5.
• Build consistent visual patterns for motion, FX, UI transitions, scale, and proportion.
• Establish a cohesive motion language unifying UI behavior across screens and states.
• Plan UI tech art approaches across platforms to balance fidelity and performance.
• Own UI tech art tooling and asset management to improve team efficiency and consistency.
• Create animated transitions and cinematic camera moves using Sequencer.
• Implement spatial and diegetic UI solutions blending 3D and UI via framing and post-processing.
• Optimize shaders, materials, textures, and VFX to meet performance targets.
• Profile runtime performance and diagnose bottlenecks in UI rendering and effects.
• Collaborate with UX/UI and visual design to add technical polish such as hover states and micro-interactions.
• Mentor UI artists and visual designers through reviews, best practices, and reusable patterns.
