Paycor is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Arteaga, Coahuila, Mexico plant. You will analyze manufacturing processes, design work methods, and lead changes to support new product launches.

The role focuses on optimizing quality, safety, cost, productivity, ergonomics, and environmental factors, while maintaining up-to-date ERP BOM data and ensuring traceability per IATF 16949. Collaboration with Launch Manager and production teams is essential, along with strong Excel and English

Formación

• Experience designing and optimizing manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 quality system.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze feasibility of new manufacturing processes and allocate resources.
• Develop methods to optimize production and reduce scrap costs.
• Ensure compliance with product launches and qualify changes.
• Balance quality, safety, cost, productivity, ergonomics and environment for new products.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain ERP BOM data and update documentation.
• Communicate and coordinate engineering changes with production.
• Lead validation tests and coordinate implementation.
• Maintain department and company documentation to IATF 16949 standards.

Position Tittle: Manufacturing Engineer

Reports to: Launch Manager

Work Location: Arteaga, Coahuila, Mexico

Responsibilities

• Analyze the feasibility of implementing new manufacturing processes, as well as plan and allocate the human and material resources required to establish the manufacturing and quality principles for new projects at the plant.


• Develop and design work methods aimed at optimizing production processes and minimizing scrap-related costs, in accordance with established objectives.


• Ensure compliance with and follow-up on all activities related to product launches.


• Optimize production processes by considering Quality, Safety, Cost, Productivity, Ergonomics, and Environmental aspects, ensuring the successful launch of new products in accordance with the plant's established goals and performance indicators.


• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives for production processes.


• Maintain manufacturing process information up to date in the ERP system, including BOM (Bill of Materials) updates.


• Effectively communicate, coordinate, and follow up on engineering changes requested by customers or generated internally.


• Execute the validation tests required by customers and coordinate with production areas to implement and validate specifications associated with product or process changes.


• Manage and maintain up-to-date documentation generated by the department and the company, ensuring compliance with the requirements established by the IATF 16949 standard.
