Job summary

Bendix, part of the Knorr-Bremse Group, is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive continual improvement in manufacturing quality. You will coordinate internal and external 8D reports, act as a liaison for PSA procedures, and communicate customer quality requirements across the plant.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in Quality/Manufacturing Engineering, 2+ years in Mechatronics, and a Six Sigma background. On-site role with strong teamwork and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in a Quality Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering role.
• Minimum 2+ years in Mechatronics.
• Minimum 1+ year solving problems through Six Sigma – DMAIC / SPS - Red X methodology.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate quality inspectors and drive customer and supplier quality activities in the manufacturing side.
• Manage containment tasks and lead quality initiatives to improve product performance.
• Maintain customer quality metrics and support PSA procedures and IATF-16949 compliance.
• Possess authority to stop production or shipment if product quality is compromised.
