Job summary

Jabil in Mexico is seeking a test engineer to develop automated test hardware and software to improve test methods and yields. You will work closely with design engineers to ensure testability of PCBs and systems in a demanding manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong problem solving, numerical and data interpretation skills, plus proficiency with Windows OS and Jabil software packages. You will participate in cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement activities while

Qualifications

• Ability to present information to managers, clients, and the public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• Proficiency with Windows OS and related software.
• Familiarity with Jabil software packages.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and read visual aids.
• Ability to perform basic math operations and interpret graphs.

Responsibilities

• Develops automated test hardware and programs to improve test methods and yields.
• Collaborates with design engineers to ensure testability of PCBs and systems in manufacturing.
• Supports cost reduction and continuous improvement of test methods and yields.
• Determines optimal test methods and justifies capital equipment purchases for testing systems.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
