Job summary

Jabil in Mexico is seeking a Technician Engineer to support test solutions development and qualification activities for fixtures and test programs in production environments. • Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers and customers.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• Advanced PC skills and familiarity with Windows-based software.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and read visual aids.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Test Engineer in developing and commissioning test solutions and qualifying fixtures and programs.
• Delivers deliverables to support production for Test Support and Manufacturing Operations.
• Assists in building and manufacturing testers, fixtures and environmental tooling.
• Provides documentation and training for all test solutions implemented.
• Interfaces with Manufacturing to coordinate training and education for test operations.
• Monitors test yields, efficiency, intermittencies and uptime with data reporting and targets for improvement.
• Strives to upgrade the test process balancing cost, coverage and efficiency.
• Coordinates test readiness with Test Support staff per weekly production schedule.
