GBS Group seeks a Senior Tax Accountant to lead complex tax assignments, collaborate with junior accountants, and work directly with clients to provide expert tax guidance and prepare tax returns.

This role offers high-level tasks, tax advice for multinational clients, and a standard of excellence within our firm. The team emphasizes empathy, integrity, and client success, with offices in Miramar, FL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Taxation with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience in US Tax Preparation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Tax Programs.
• Advanced level of English & Spanish.
• Experience preparing complex tax returns and corporate tax filings.

Responsabilités

• Analysis of financial information and preparation of financial reports to determine tax liability for clients.
• Oversee and prepare various US tax returns (1040, 1040NR, 1120, 1120S, etc.).
• Review and process incoming financial documentation from clients.
• Assist clients to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Perform additional accounting and tax-related responsibilities as assigned.
