Job summary

Baxter is seeking a Senior Supply Planner to lead end-to-end planning for Finished Goods, Sub-Assemblies, and Raw Materials. You will drive MPS, MRP, and DRP processes, balancing customer needs with capacity and material availability to optimize service levels and working capital.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor’s in a related field, 5+ years in supply chain planning, and fluency in English and Spanish. APICS certification and experience with RapidResponse or Maestro are preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Planning, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and optimize the Master Production Plan (MPS) for designated products and complex portfolios.
  • Balance production, inventory, capacity, and customer requirements to achieve service, operational, and financial objectives.
  • Monitor performance against production plans, identify root causes of gaps, and drive corrective actions to resolution.
  • Own delivery commitments for make-to-order products, considering capacity, material availability, lead times, and business priorities.
  • Drive supply planning processes for third-party manufactured products and collaborate with suppliers to mitigate risks.
  • Lead scenario planning and risk assessments related to capacity, inventory, material availability, and production lead times.
  • Develop and maintain material supply plans (MRP) to support manufacturing requirements.
  • Manage raw material and component inventories while ensuring uninterrupted production.
  • Identify supply risks and lead mitigation strategies across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) activities, optimizing inventory deployment across the network.
  • Recommend inventory, allocation, and replenishment strategies that support customer service and working capital targets.
  • Lead cross-functional issue resolution and continuously improve planning processes, standards, and best practices.

Your role at Baxter As the Senior Supply Planner, you will be accountable for end-to-end planning activities across Finished Goods, Sub-Assemblies, and Raw Materials. What you'll bring
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Planning, Integrated Business Planning, Logistics, or related functions.
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Operations Planning, Integrated Business Planning, Logistics, or related functions.
  • Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) or equivalent supply chain certification.
  • Experience with RapidResponse, Maestro, or other advanced planning platforms.
