Baxter is seeking a seasoned IT Software & Services Procurement Manager to lead global sourcing, supplier management, and category strategy for software, SaaS, and IT services. You will optimize technology investments, manage risk, and align procurement with business priorities and technology roadmaps.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of IT procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management experience.
• Understanding of software licensing models, SaaS agreements, and IT services contracting.
• Skilled in negotiating complex agreements and balancing commercial outcomes with long-term needs.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions and levels.
• Proficient in using data and financial insights to guide recommendations.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects in a global environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; English fluency required.

Your role

The IT Software & Services Procurement Manager leads the global sourcing, supplier management, and category strategy activities for software, SaaS solutions, and IT services. This role is responsible for optimizing technology investments, strengthening vendor partnerships, managing risk, and ensuring procurement strategies align with business priorities and technology roadmaps. Success in this role comes from balancing strategic thinking with execution, influencing key stakeholders, and delivering measurable business value through effective sourcing decisions, supplier performance, and cost management initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for software, SaaS solutions, and IT services, ensuring the best combination of value, quality, innovation, and service.
• Negotiate supplier agreements, commercial terms, and pricing strategies that deliver cost savings while supporting business objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic technology partners to drive innovation, improve supplier performance, and reduce risk.
• Develop and execute category strategies that optimize spend, support future technology needs, and align with organizational priorities.
• Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry benchmarks to identify opportunities for efficiency, innovation, and competitive advantage.
• Identify and implement cost optimization initiatives that reduce total cost of ownership while maintaining service quality and business continuity.
• Partner with stakeholders across IT, Finance, Legal, and business functions to align sourcing activities with operational and strategic goals.
• Provide guidance on procurement processes, supplier governance, and compliance requirements to support informed decision-making across the organization.

What You'll Bring

• You have a bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• You bring 5+ years of experience in IT procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management, or a related discipline.
• You have a strong understanding of software licensing models, SaaS agreements, and IT services contracting.
• You can successfully negotiate complex agreements and balance commercial outcomes with long-term business needs.
• You are skilled at building trusted relationships and influencing stakeholders across multiple functions and levels.
• You use data and financial insights to identify opportunities, solve problems, and support strategic recommendations.
• You have experience managing cross-functional projects and driving results in a global business environment.
• You communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences and are comfortable presenting recommendations to diverse stakeholder groups.
• You are fluent in English and can collaborate effectively with global teams.
