is seeking a Sr. Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in Mexicali. The role focuses on strategic purchasing, supplier negotiations, and cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, quality, and manufacturing to meet material specifications and timelines. We expect a candidate with 6+ years in supply chain, fluency in English, and a background in the medical environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
• 6+ years of experience in supply chain, preferably within a medical environment.
• Fluent in English.
• ERP systems experience with Oracle or SAP.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the purchasing process by preparing and generating purchase orders, requesting material quotations, and negotiating prices, terms, and conditions with authorized suppliers.
• Prepare and analyze requests for quotation (RFQs) and drive competitive bidding processes.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to achieve cost savings and mitigate risk.
• Lead supplier performance management, including KPIs, scorecards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by coordinating supplier readiness, cost targets, and timelines.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure material specifications and requirements are met.
• Lead cross‑functional projects related to procurement and supply chain optimization.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to enhance collaboration and performance.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members when applicable.
