Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is seeking an experienced Stress Engineer IV in Mexicali to substantiate structural integrity for engineering changes. The role requires performing detailed FEM and hand calculations, ensuring compliance with FAR Part 25 and Gulfstream stress criteria.

The position involves mentoring junior team members, providing cross-functional support, and delivering thorough stress reports and design substantiations for aircraft models.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Aerospace Engineering.
• 6 years of experience sufficient to perform essential functions.
• Knowledge of FAR Part 25 regulations and diverse analysis techniques.

Responsabilidades

• Perform analysis and document certification stress reports with calculations and margins of safety.
• Provide technical support to design and other engineering groups throughout the build process.
• Ensure structural analysis and rationale meet Gulfstream stress criteria and FAA regulations.
• Perform Stress checks for interior structural substantiation reports and design substantiations.
• Provide design solutions, mentoring, and feedback to the stress team.
