Qualcomm Intl Inc., Mexico Branch Office is seeking a Senior Storage & Backup engineer with 3–5 years of IT experience to manage enterprise storage, backups, and recovery. You will work in a global IT operations team focusing on NetApp, Dell Isilon, Pure Storage, Cohesity, and traditional backup tools.

The position requires on-site work with an 8/5 on-call rotation. You will interact with multiple vendor teams and maintain service levels using standard incident and change processes in

Formación

• 3+ years in IT with a bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years without a bachelor’s degree.
• Strong experience with enterprise storage and data protection.
• Proficiency with NetApp, Dell Isilon, Pure Storage and VAST storage platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Provide Tier1/2 support for storage and backup technologies.
• Participate in 8/5 on-call rotation including weekends/holidays.
• Work 100% on-site in the office environment.
• Monitor capacity, performance, and service reliability.
• Troubleshoot storage/backup issues and coordinate with vendors.
• Manage patches and upgrades for storage/backup systems.
• Handle tickets in ServiceNow with SLA/KPI adherence.
• Create reports, dashboards, and knowledgebase articles.
