Thomson Reuters México is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own the Customer Files Orchestration Service, enabling millions of customer documents to flow through upload, storage, extraction, embedding, and indexing. You will design scalable, fault-tolerant systems and lead cross-team collaboration in a distributed environment.

The role emphasizes reliability, on-call ownership, and strong software design, with opportunities to mentor peers and drive architecture decisions across services.

Formación

• Bachelor's or master's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years building production software with ownership of major components.
• Extensive AWS and production Python experience for a Python service on AWS.
• Experience with Python concurrency, GIL awareness, and asyncio in production.
• Hands-on Kubernetes in production with autoscaling and resource tuning.
• Experience with large-scale orchestration or data pipelines.

Responsabilidades

• Own the Customer Files Orchestration Service end-to-end from design to operation.
• Define domain calls, consistency, idempotency, and recovery strategies.
• Build queuing, flow control, rate limiting, backpressure, and autoscaling.
• Treat APIs as products with versioned contracts and backward compatibility.
• Operate the service, participate in on-call, and drive post-mortems.
• Mentor engineers through code and design reviews.
