CoCounsel Legal is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build and operate the Customer Files Orchestration Service—the system that makes a customer's documents usable by CoCounsel Legal's agents.

As part of this role, you will own substantial parts of the service, ensuring correct behavior at scale, implementing reliable queuing, and partnering with storage, extraction, indexing, and front-end teams to ship great features.

Formación

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years building production software with ownership of significant components.
• Extensive AWS and production Python experience.
• Concurrency in Python and production async code experience.
• Kubernetes in production with event‑driven autoscaling.

Responsabilidades

• Own the orchestration service end-to-end from design to operation.
• Make and defend domain calls regarding consistency and delivery guarantees.
• Build queuing and flow-control machinery with fair queuing and autoscaling.
• Treat APIs as a product with versioned contracts and backward compatibility.
• Design for correctness at scale and anticipate failure modes under concurrency.
