Brillio is seeking an Engineer, Applications & Platforms to join our backend team. You will develop and maintain Java 8+ services within a microservices framework, building RESTful APIs for scalable business solutions.

You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, resolving production issues, and optimizing performance on AWS with PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Formación

• Hands-on Java 8+ development with microservices experience.
• Experience building RESTful services and scalable APIs.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services and PostgreSQL.
• Proficient using Git and CI/CD in Agile settings.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java 8+ and Spring Boot in a microservices environment.
• Design and implement RESTful web services and APIs for scalable solutions.
• Resolve production issues via detailed code analysis and RCA
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in Agile settings and manage Jira workflows.
• Optimize performance and scalability leveraging AWS infrastructure and PostgreSQL.

Job requirements

• Experience Range: With at least 4 to 7 years of hands‑on experience in Java backend development, including microservices architecture and application support. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop and maintain backend applications using Java 8+ and Spring Boot within a microservices environment. 2. Design and implement RESTful web services and APIs to deliver scalable business solutions. 3. Resolve hypercare tickets and production issues by performing detailed code analysis and root cause investigation. 4. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in Agile settings to deliver high‑quality software and manage workflows using Jira. 5. Optimize application performance and scalability, leveraging AWS cloud infrastructure. 6. Integrate and maintain data persistence using PostgreSQL, ensuring robust database operations. 7. Contribute to RCA documentation and support work, promoting continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. Required Skills: 1. Java 8+ development 2. Spring Boot framework 3. RESTful web services 4.
