Amazon Device Software & Services team is expanding its engineering presence in Mexico, inviting senior software engineers from Latin America to relocate. This role includes full visa sponsorship and comprehensive relocation support for you and eligible dependents.

Join a team that designs and builds devices like Kindle, Fire tablets, and Echo, collaborating across global sites. You will architect and deliver complex systems, mentor engineers, and help raise our product quality and reliability.

Formación

• 7+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 7+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and deliver complex software systems aligned with Amazon's engineering standards.
• Drive technical decisions and design reviews impacting multiple services.
• Lead development of critical features while mentoring junior engineers.
• Establish monitoring, metrics, and operational excellence for high-availability systems.
• Define and enforce code quality, testing, and documentation standards.
• Identify and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Design privacy-preserving features to protect customer data.
• Help build high-performing teams through technical interviews and hiring recommendations.
